Bowling Quote of the Day--4/5/10

"Personally, I can’t remember a season that included more memorable moments than what we saw this season, with Kelly Kulick’s historic win in the T of C, Tom Smallwood’s Cinderella story win at the World Championship, Brian Voss’s return to the winner’s circle at the Don and Paula Carter Mixed Doubles, and many more. But probably the most amazing feat of the year was Williams capturing Player of the Year (his seventh, moving him past Earl Anthony who won six) at the age of 50. I’d rank this amazing accomplishment as one of the 10 greatest in the history of bowling (a list that you’ll soon be seeing in a book I’m working on)…but for this season, amazing is something we’ve come to expect."
