The last time I practiced, I worked on throwing the ball harder by increasing the tempo of my footwork and armswing. It seemed to me that my ball was rolling faster down the lane and hitting the pins harder, and I seemed to be putting less effort into each shot. More power with less effort seems like a pretty good way to go.
Now if I can learn to get more revs on the ball to optimally match my extra speed or to let me hook the ball more on oily patterns when I slow the ball down, this should make me more effective and versatile.
I'll keep you posted on my results.
